Professor McGlynn shared her expertise regarding online abuse today with the Parliamentary committee reviewing the Online Safety Bill. Professor McGlynn made the case for a more comprehensive response to online violence against women and girls and raised questions about how effective the Bill will be in tackling the unlawful porn easily available on mainstream social media sites like Twitter. Professor McGlynn gave evidence alongside Jessica Eagleton from Refuge and Janaya Walker from End Violence Against Women and Girls.
