Controversy over Prince Andrew’s legal strategy to rebut sexual abuse claims made front page news in The Sunday Times as it emerged that he was seeking to use the complainant's medical history to discredit her.
Professor McGlynn commented in the article that ‘defence lawyers used to always try to put forward evidence of sexual history’ but as that avenue has now largely been closed off, instead medical evidence is being sought. She labelled this as the ‘sluts’ to ‘nuts’ legal strategy.
